Greetings all Hams...

I started my career as a DJ in the mid 80’s. A friend that I took over late at night was telling me about ham radio and we went out to his car and he made some calls and got some feedback from other hams. I thought it was great to hear. So he told me about a class that was going on, where I could take the test for novice and CW. I took the test and passed it, and then I passed the 5 words-per-minute CW test too! That was in June 1991. Then in Dec. 7th of 1991 I passed my Tech. Good news, on, 4/15/06. I just passed my Gen. and Extra. I'm cooking now!

You can find me at times on Echolink or on PSK31 on 20 meters, so stop by and say "hi" if you hear or see me out there.

On July 21, 2007 the Loma Pioneers Radio Club brought in the WinSystem, which is linked from the 442.900 MHz repeater, with a PL tone of 162.2 Hz. This repeater covers the greater Bay Area, and for more info, go to http://www.lprc.net or to http://www.winsystem.org. It's a great system and there are as of now (Aug.5,2007) 55 repeaters that link up to repeaters from in and out of California, as well as in other countries. It's fun, and if you have time, give it a look.

My Job is taking photos of Pre-School kids (now I can say I'm a professional photographer) here in the Bay Area. As I have always said, "If there is a job I can be good at and love doing and get paid for it I would eat it up". Well, I love doing photos and being out on the road and not in an office with no windows to look outside. If your in the Bay Area and want photos, send me an e-mail message.

Peace my friends.
