Ever had a dream when you were young -- of doing something really wonderful for your friends, your school, and your comunity? Four kids from Fremont had this dream, of using a class project to do something like this for their school -- John F. Kennedy High in Fremont, California.
This dream would take a school common area, that was never properly landscaped, and transform it into an outdoor activity center that can be used by all, throughout the year. The kids called this dream Titan Center, in honor of their proud school mascot.
Our dream will take a considerable sum of money to bring to reality. Contractor's quotations slated this project at over $25,000. Building materials companies and contractors have since donated over $8,000 in materials and labor. At present, we need to raise another $17,000 before we can begin breaking ground on this important project.
